Douglas’ philosophy: Good decisions are based on good information.   

Douglas comes from a local family of real estate agents, loan officers, and appraisers. Before becoming an agent 14 years ago, he was a Certified Appraiser. Douglas grew up in the area, attending elementary through high school in Fairfax City, VA. He graduated from UVA with an Economics degree. After a couple of years in Virginia Beach, VA and then Missoula, MT, he returned to the DC area in 1996 where he's lived ever since.  

Experiencing the evolution of real estate in the DC region has been an invaluable asset to Douglas' clients, alongside his deep knowledge of regional markets, construction standards, and finance. He now lives in a late 1800s Washington, D.C. Logan Circle row house that he renovated himself, living in it during the demo and reconstruction. It offered an invaluable education he recommends that everyone do at least once, but only once.
